Brief NCR, New Delhi: Weather forecast for 11 April 2024: Weather systems across the country: A trough/wind dissection extending up to 0.9 km above mean sea level extends from Southeast Rajasthan to northern parts of Coastal Karnataka through Central Maharashtra and South Konkan.

The cyclonic circulation over Sub-Himalayan West Bengal and adjoining areas extends up to 0.9 km above mean sea level.

A cyclonic circulation is lying over the adjoining areas of south-eastern Rajasthan.

Another cyclonic circulation is over central Maharashtra.

A Western Disturbance is seen as a trough in the mid-tropospheric westerly winds, with its axis at 5.8 km above sea level. Running along longitude 66 degrees east north of about 30° north latitude.

Weather disturbances across the country during the last 24 hours

During the last 24 hours, light to moderate rain and thundershowers occurred over Vidarbha, Marathwada and Madhya Pradesh.

Light rain occurred over Sub-Himalayan West Bengal, Sikkim, parts of Bihar, Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand and North Odisha.

Possible weather activity during the next 24 hours

During the next 24 hours, light rain and snowfall is possible over Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand between April 10 and 12. It may increase significantly between 13th and 16th April.

Between 13th and 15th, there may be scattered hailstorm along with rain and storm in Uttar Pradesh, Punjab, Haryana and Delhi.

Rain and storm are possible in Rajasthan between April 10 and 15.

Light to moderate rain and thundershowers are possible over Arunachal Pradesh.

Light rain may also occur in Northeast India.

Light to moderate rain may occur in North Telangana.

Light rain is possible in Kerala.
