Doctor turned IAS officer

Tanu Jain's education started at Cambridge School in Srinivaspuri, Delhi, where she laid the foundation of her educational career. He completed Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) degree from Subharti Medical College, Meerut.

After completing his degree, he also practiced as a dentist. However, she wanted to do more than this so that she could serve the country. And he decided to become an Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer.

He joined civil service in the year 2015. He served in a number of positions, starting with the Armed Forces Headquarters Service. However, Tanu Jain's UPSC journey was not easy at all.

In her first attempt, she cleared the prelims exam in just two months, but failed in the mains exam. In 2014, he achieved 648th rank in his third attempt.

After working as an administrative officer for seven and a half years, Dr. Tanu Jain decided to choose a different path. Dr. Tanu decided to help those students who want to do something for the country by clearing the UPSC exam.

Became UPSC coach

Despite a successful tenure of seven and a half years as an IAS officer, Tanu Jain decided to leave her civil service job and take up full-time teaching. Regarding this he said that his job was satisfactory and he worked diligently for seven and a half years.

But she had faced challenges while preparing for UPSC and hence she understands what kind of problems candidates face. He decided to help these candidates by giving them the right direction.

Dr. Jain now connects with candidates on platforms like social media, mock interview sessions and gives motivational speeches to candidates in coaching centres.

She motivates as well as helps UPSC aspirants. With his guidance and encouragement, many difficulties faced by these candidates in their preparation become easier. He has now set up his own UPSC CSE coaching center named 'Tathastuics'.
